Customer Reviews

It is of great detail, although you will probably need a couple ...It is of great detail, although you will probably need a couple of markers for making it look as detailed as the one displayed. This was one of my first Gunplas, order it with a Wing Zero RG 1/144. Be careful with the crown pieces when transforming it to "Neo Bird", they will probably vent a little, wings open up quite nicely, but they will likely set loose if you move them too much, it is a good product for its value, and this might be flaws only for the model itself. For beginners it is a great kit, you might finish it in between 30 minutes up to 1:30 hours. If you want to try this out, before getting a more detailed and advanced one, would highly recommend it (don't expect something fancy either, but definitely good detailed). 4It's a bird! It's a Plane! It's... WING-TASTIC!!!Kudos to you Bandai, and your genius.I won't lie, I was a little apprehensive when buying this as it has... Well, WINGS, and if you've ever built a Gundam with wings you know it can sometimes be the death of the kit. However I think everyone will be pleased when I say, this Kit is near perfect much like its Nataku counterpart.Articulation=From the get-go the head is capable of looking up around 120 degrees, and down just the same, allowing it for more head movement than most Kits. The torso has an ab-crunch which does also work better than most Kits, but still is not the most. The shoulders have a special ButterFly joint which allows it to come out and have the kit be able to... TOUCH THE OTHER SHOULDER! Something not very much seen in Kits of this scale, while also allowing for an almost 180 bend in the elbow, great hand motion, as well as the shoulder pads opening up in order to reveal Thrusters within them! The legs are able to move forward just under 90 degrees, an almost perfect 180 knee-bend for that Knee-To-Chest action. The feet have a decent enough swivel, while uniquely the back panel of the calves can open up to allow for the foot to point down more(and this function also comes with the transformation). The wings, well they have some weight to them, but not enough to bog down the Kit, and can move just about every-which-way ya want them to, making for some pretty nice poses from this Kit.Transformation=As you might expect, this Kit is a bit of a Parts-Former, but only truly to the point of you needing to swap the feet out in order to get them into Bird Mode. The rest of the transformation simply requires you swiveling and twisting some parts around.Accessories=2X Buster Rifles2X Beam Sabres1X Shield2X Bird Mode FeetPosing=The posing is great. The Kit actually does not have all that much weight to it, even with the wings. The only complaint I have is that the shield can be slightly cumbersome, and make it a little difficult to pose, however despite this, it is a great Kit.Verdict=From the build to the poses, you'll be pleased. The colors are great, the build is great, the kit is great, posing. Great. IF you are a fan of this Gundam, there is no reason to not get this Kit. 5Heero Yuy, Mission Complete.Ok, so I built the first version I had of the original Wing Gundam Zero kit back before the All Gundam Project kicked off... by about 14 years. So, I had to buy the new version of this kit. The nostalgia trip was prolly the best part. Over all, I wasn't amazed by this kit. I mean it wasn't bad per se, but there were some minor issues I took with it.So you're wondering, what were these issues. Well, the waist dislikes staying together was a big issue. One wing just plain dislikes the set when closing. It's just minor things like that really, otherwise it's a fine kit. I guess that since I built my first one way back when, it kind of set a fairly high bar in my memory. Maybe the biggest problem was really the sentiment attached to the kit. If you love the Mobile Report Gundam W series, or you just want a kit that many people will recognize, this is one for you. 4Omae wo korosuA great addition for any wing gundam fan this guy poses like a retro dream every time in pose it feels like magic the wings do make a bit back heavy sometimes but not by much it is also very detailed for a high grade and the beams are beautiful. The twin buster rifle is super light so it has problem holding them aaaaaalll the way up or both together on one hand plus the chest jewel is beautiful I'm really loving the all gundam project so far. And just to say this is truly Heero worthy. 5Another great kit from Bandai's all new all Gundam Project.A lot of this is speaking from nostalgia but wow what a great kit! Man I remember the first time I watched Gundam Wing back when I was a kid on Toonami, and boy did that blow my mind! Never before did I see a cartoon like Gundam Wing before and that series is what started my crazy passion for collecting Gundam model kits. As a kid back in the early 2,000s I collected most of the Gundam Wing kits that were available at my local Wal Mart, and I gota that they were for the most part garbage. It is that reason that it just blows my mind to see how far Bandai has come with their HG line of model kits, and the HG Proto Zero is a great example of that. I purchased the kit for 18 dollars and just like the other all Gundam project kits, you get your bang for your buck. The kit is a transformable model and just like the Wing Gundam is very easy to transform and looks great in its bird mode. The kit comes with the iconic double buster rifles that does separate, two beam swords, and shield. The kit like most modern day kits is very flexible and therefore able to achieve a wide range of posses. Another plus withe this kit is the color separation, glad to see Bandai didn't cheap out in us by replacing colored parts with stickers. The kit just looks fantastic out of the box, the only thing I recommend you do is use a lining marker to line to line the kit up. Really makes your kit pop. All in all a fantastic kit for the price I would ideally give it a 4.5 out 5, but since that option isn't available on Amazon I just rounded that up to a five. My only gripe with the kit)and it might just be with mine) is that the arms fall off quite easily. However I used a tinny bit of glue on the arm ball joints, just to make it sticky and now the arms stay on just fine. Just get the kit you won't be sorry! Especially if your a Gundam Wing fan! 5Great!Ordered this for my brother for Christmas. I checked out all the pieces and everything was there. They were all painted nicely and ready to put together! He s going to love this! 5Buy this gundam. Looks amazing. This Gunpla model is awesome. Without painting it is still a great model. The painting I did was with gray paint dipped in paint thinner which I found on YouTube to give it a more realistic look for panel lining. Stickers hold like stickers do, placed right they're awesome. First gundam model I ever put together and it was awesome. Painted the parts before taking them off the frames. Molded in solid colors so sanding wont take the color off parts. Minimum painting required to look like picture. No painting required for it to look like it from a distance. An awesome gundam model to begin with. From this being my first gundam model and only looking to buy other high grade models (cause they're half the price of master models and as big as an action figure) this one is cool. No regrets. Bring peace and Justice to the universe Gundam! Haha. Yea if you're reading this you're as much as a nerd as me. You get it and you know you want this. Awesome gundam model. 5A honest and hopefully detail review of wing zeroFirst off this was a good build over all The wing zero comes with-2 buster rifles-2 beam sabers (green)-1 shield that becomes the head when it goes to neobird mode-2 extra feet that are thruster when you switch it to neobird modeWhen transforming too neobird mode the back legs of wing zero can open to switch the feet from normal feet to thruster feet.Over all wing zero is a good build for those who are just starting or those who are all ready experts at building.I really did like build this model kit of wing gundam zero especially since it's from one of my favorite gundam series. 4Pose it and leave it aloneFor the price this kit is ok. If it was more expensive I d give it less stars but at the price point I can ignore the arm joints. They re not hard to modify to keep them held in but it was frustrating before modifying. With how popular this show was in America it s a good kit for everyone s collection 5Good price and two modes is great...butBuilt this model with my 8 yr old. We really like the fact that it can be in 2 forms & we even purchased a stand for it, but there are some cons.Pros:* color coded parts & part palette* detail stickers are a great alternative to painting* majority of the Japanese instructions were self explanatory* parts are well fabricated & fit well togetherCons:* stickers require tweezers to apply correctly* ball joints are loose & don t stay socketed (torso keeps separating from lower half)* transforming from robot to plane requires disassembling parts of the robot & attaching other pieces* weapons are not very detailed & sword falls apart easily* for a clean look, clippers & filing is required* not really something you can play with after assembly 3
