Purchased a second because the kids had fun with oneThe kids had so much fun with one, we decided to purchase another one. They play for hours and enjoy competing with their siblings, cousins and friends when the 2 are synced.I, like the other reviewers, recommend getting two from the start. 5Fun family entertainment!Seriously the coolest little game! It made for a lot of fun on Christmas with the family. I ordered two so that you can connect the headsets and duel. It s really quite easy to learn, my 9 year old brother caught on as quick as I did. 5This is a cool gameI love Simon Says type apps, so when my niece asked for this set of glasses for her birthday, I agreed because the price was reasonable. Its been a lot of fun, but I wish it were safe for epilepsy sufferers. I'm not sure that it is, unfortunately. The solo game is heaps of fun. Just watch the pattern of lights and listen out for the sounds and repeat by waving your hands over the senses. Although, how cool would it be if you could do it with your eyes! Come on Simon lets patton that! The real fun though is syncing more than one game unit together and playing the same sequence with friends. It becomes a process of elimination to see who can go the longest and it is heaps and heaps of fun if you can get friends around to play with you. To do this though, you will need to buy more than one game unit. Either that, or insure that your friends have their own unit. Over all, Simon Optix is heaps of fun for children and adults alike, although you might find it a bit tight on your head if you have a head that s a bit too large though this can be adjusted quite easily, maybe possibly, really depends on your head. 5Could have be FUN!I'm a fan of the old disc Simon game. I was skeptical of this one, but got it for my 10 year old daughter. Game play was good until it was having trouble sensing some hand movements. its a little disappointing when you gesture on a color, but the sensor doesn't pick it up and buzzes you out. Not Fair! ;) 3Blind son loves it :)My son is blind and collects a lot of these games. You would think they are sight based but you would be wrong. He's got it all figured out and enjoys playing this game!! 5Great for ADHDMy 8 year old with ADHD has next to no attention span for toys. However, this has seemed to keep his interest for long periods of time. It's fun, and challenging, while helping him learn to follow directions and memory retention! So glad I got this!!! 5Looks cool, didn't seem to be a hit with 2 boys thoughI bought two of these, one for my 12 yr old son and one for my 8 year old nephew. They can be played individually or you can connect with each other (even if you buy the two games separately). It's simple to set up (just add batteries). You put the headpiece on and follow the Simon color pattern by waving your hands in front of the eye piece for each color. I thought the game looked fun myself, but neither boy really got into it. We've had them for a couple of weeks and it's barely been touched. The fun was short lived. 3
