Customer Reviews

These are junk! These are junk. Yes, technically they are slingshot rubber chickens. But they're still junk. The stretchy part (the neck) is far too skinny to be effective. I'm guessing it will break after a few dozen shots. Couple that with the very heavy body that doesn't really stretch, and you have a relatively heavy chunk of rubber that flies a few ineffective feet. And to make matters worse, these are not eligible for return. We have purchased similar rubber chickens from a local store in the past that were much better made, and cheaper. Sadly they are no longer available. Our grandson had a ball with them, but not these. 1Lots of fun Had a lot of fun playing with these sling shot chickens when we had the family together for Christmas. The chickens legs came off easily, but the chickens were still capable of being sling shot. In some cases, the heads came off. But the heads alone could be used as a sling shot. We just threw the bodies since they had some weight to them. We played in the house and didn't damage anything. It was a lot of fun! 4Guess what? Chicken butt. Don't hold the chickens by their feet, pinch their butts for maximum potential energy. Conversion from potential energy to kinetic energy is efficient, these rubber cocks can fly far. Great fun for everyone 5Stupid but fun. Grandkids love these stupid things. They found they will temporarily stick to the ceiling (which fascinates them). 4Poultry in motion!!! If you hold them by the body rather than the legs, these will hold up better and fly better. Super fun and funny toy. There's a little pocket built into the head for your finger so they stay on well until you let go. Also, they work well with both adult and child fingers. 5Good fun and great price. Knew these as Flinging-Chickens when I first bought them, which is now the name of some game. An excellent price for what I once got for $5 for 3 at a brick & mortar store. These come individually on their own card. They're stuck there by their own tacky goodness and are individually wrapped in plastic. I've been writing words of encouragement on the cards and hiding them around work for a morale booster. I've also sneaked them into my SOs bags with words of love. When I first discovered them they were known as Flinging Chickens, which apparently is now the copyrighted name of some game. 5Great office gag This guy at work manages IT for one of our customers that happens to be in the business of fried chicken. Well... We performed a coordinator coworker assault and launched 12 chickens at this poor guy. It was epic. These things were sticking to walls and collecting lint and long stray hairs for a few days after the initial rubber assault. 5They all loved these chickens Purchased these to use in a hands-on activity for an after-school math program. I had two groups of students, 2nd graders and 4th/5th graders. They all loved these chickens!! Not sure they learned any math...These babies are hard to break and they really fly. 5not legs when you stretch him because it is easy to yank off his skinny legs I ordered these very affordable chickens by the dozens. They're a hysterical party game we call "Poutry Pull", to see who can launch the critters the farthest, winners get a gift bag or takes some chickens home. I have yet to give away the gift bags, everybody wants the chickens!Mark a starting line. Divide everybody into classifications. The senior citizens can safely sit in a chicken launching chair. Able-bodied folks can do up to a five step approach, but can be disqualified, they pass or step on the start line. Youngsters are put in the middle of a rope circle since they don't have much ability to aim. Distance not form, is what counts.Participants have learned to cock their arms and elbows while stretching the chicken. Squeeze the chickens butt, not legs when you stretch him because it is easy to yank off his skinny legs. They do get a little dirty, wash them with dishwashing soap, air dry, then I give a light dusting of cornstarch which makes them silky and new again. 5Funny looking chickens Funny looking chickens. I took these to work, where we'd been shooting rubber bands at each other for a while. They don't shoot so well, as they kinda stick to your finger. When they do go, they go very fast...not the best for offices :-) So...we end up just hanging them in random places around the office, which is pretty funny. 3
